I've uploaded a couple of pictures so that you can see the table being used for sand and for water (since the product post doesn't provide pictures for that). We have thoroughly enjoyed this table and haven't had any problems with it. But here are some things that are good to know if you plan to purchase the table: 1. When it comes to using sand, this table is NOT WATERTIGHT. The lid has a hole in it (for an umbrella --- purchased separately --- to be inserted). The hole will allow rainwater to seep into any sand you have inside. 2. Despite the product picture, this table DOES NOT SEAT 4 KIDS comfortably. Stick to using it for 2 kids (one on each side).
